Your handy guide to SWOT, PESTLE and Porters Five Forces.
SWOT Analysis
A SWOT analysis (Pahl and Richter, 2009) outlines a product or service’s position within its market as well as among your company’s other products.
Pestle
The PESTLE framework (Partridge, 1999) breaks down macroenvironmental factors which may affect both the company and the products market. These are factors of the market which cannot be directly controlled by the company but nevertheless impact them.
Porters Five Forces
A Porters Five Forces model (Jones and Hill, 2000) is a situational analysis considering both the threats and existing competitive environment.
